Dr. Barry Bicanich
Dr. Bicanich has been in practice as a doctor of chiropractic since 1985. From childhood he always wanted to be a doctor, but had twelve years of diversion as a psychiatric assistant and as a psychiatric R.N. He holds a certificate in acupuncture, and has taken extra training in nutrition and functional medicine.
He grew up in Brooklyn Center and attended the U of Minnesota, St. Catherine’s nursing program, and Northwestern Health Sciences University for his doctorate in chiropractic.
He and his wife Diane live in Mendota Hts. They have three adult children – Jacob, Matthew and Rebecca, one grandson Camilo, and one whacko orange cat – Rocket.
Dr. B. enjoys travel, fiction and non-fiction, films, music and frequent walks by the Mississippi River. He enjoys on-going studies in chiropractic care, acupuncture and nutrition. He also is studying Spanish, with hopes of conversing in that language with his daughter-in-law from Venezuela and his grandson, who is speaking Spanish at home. He also has a goal of welcoming Spanish speaking patients in their native language.
Dr. B. listens and cares, and works with all his patients to develop plans of care tailored to meet their particular health needs and goals.
